We access insurers brokers cannot, and often offer superior premiums and an extensive package of insurance coverages specifically tailored to restaurants under one policy. Examples are assault & battery, liquor liability, employment practices liability, cyber liability and employee dishonesty. Additionally, we can offer preferred coverage and rates for a wide array of restaurants, bakeries, cafe’s coffee shops, bars, pubs, taverns, food trucks, and fast food eateries, even if others may consider an establishment high risk, which helps keeps the restaurant insurance costs low.

Insurers We Work With
We work with a variety of Insurers but here are a few of our most popular.
Available Coverages
Tenant Improvements
Insurance coverage for permanently attached property in the restaurant that was installed or purchased by the insured.
Business Property (Contents)
Coverage for unattached property in the restaurant.
Off-Premises Property
Covers property outside of the restaurant.
Tenant's Glass
Typically the building owner covers glass damage, however, some leases require that the tenant cover glass damage, which this covers.
Employee Dishonesty
Insurance coverage for embezzlement of company funds.
Business Income
Replaces lost income if a covered loss renders the restaurant uninhabitable. Additional coverage is available for power outages.
Equipment Breakdown
Provides insurance coverage for mechanical breakdown, electrical or electronic breakdown, or rupture, bursting, bulging, implosion, or steam explosion of covered equipment that results in direct physical loss or damage resulting from a covered cause of loss. Does not cover wear and tear.
Spoilage
Covers product spoiled after mechanical breakdown or failure of refrigeration equipment.
General Liability
Primarily protects restaurants financially if held responsible for trip and slip-type injuries. A limit of at least $1,000,000 is recommended.
Personal and Advertising Injury
Primarily covers defamation and copyright/trademark infringement.
Product Liability
Insurance coverage for illnesses caused by food.
Cyber Liability
Primarily covers data breach that results in a loss of confidential data as well as inadvertent transmission of malware. Recommended if working with confidential data such as payment information.
Employee Benefits Liability
Covers mismanagement of benefits. Would provide insurance coverage if, for example, an employee holds the restaurant responsible for a major medical expense they expected to be covered under the company health insurance plan.
Employment Practices Liability
Covers claims of discrimination, wrongful discipline/termination, harassment, breach of (implied) contract, failure to employ or promote, deprivation of opportunity, and infliction of emotional stress made by employees of the restaurant. Third-party coverage is available to cover claims of discrimination and harassment made by customers, vendors, etc. Keep in mind that even if there is no basis for a claim, defending these claims can be expensive, and this insurance coverage will pay defense costs.
Employer Liability (Stop Gap)
Washington is one a few states where workers compensation insurance is provided by the state. Although this covers employees when they are injured on the job, unlike insurance policies provided by private insurers, it does not offer coverage if employees hold your restaurant responsible. This could happen if the employee is not satisfied with the coverage provided by the state. Employer liability (stop gap) insurance coverage fills this coverage gap.
Hired and Non-Owned Auto
Covers your restaurant if held responsible for injuries or property damage sustained in an accident. Hired auto offers coverage while driving vehicles that are borrowed or rented for company business, or paid for using company funds. Non-owned auto offers coverage while employees (including owners) are driving their own personal vehicles for company business.
